sked ("we", "our", or "the app") helps student groups share class schedules and see when members are free. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account info — When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your account identifier and email address from that provider.
- Profile info — Course, purpose (e.g. block section), and display name you enter during onboarding.
- Schedule data — Class blocks (subject, room, day, times) you add, and group membership (groups you create or join).
- Push token — If you allow notifications, we store an Expo push token on your profile so we can send alerts later.
- Diagnostics (optional) — If enabled in a future release, crash reports (Sentry) or product analytics (PostHog) may collect device and usage diagnostics. These are not required to use the app today.
How we use data
- Authenticate you and sync your schedule with your groups.
- Show group members each other's schedules according to group visibility settings.
- Improve reliability and fix bugs if diagnostic tools are enabled.
Who can see your data
- Group members — People in the same group can see your schedule. In busy/free mode, they see availability slots only, not subject names or rooms.
- Service providers — We use InstantDB for sync and storage, Google/Apple for sign-in, and Expo for push delivery. Each processes data under their own policies.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention & deletion
Data stays in your account while you use sked. You can delete individual class blocks or leave groups in the app without deleting your account. See delete specific data.

Children
sked is intended for students (typically 13+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
